The Art of saying "Thank You"
When I was a young man, my parents instilled at least one thing in me that stuck. The importance of saying "Thank You" in a meaningful way. My parents are part of the last generation to know life before the personal computer. They have seen the digital age evolve in ways they didn't think was possible when they were my age. It is for that reason that they have found value in doing things the "old fashioned way" from time to time. While email, text messaging, and other forms of digital communications are fast, easy and convenient, they don't always express the true gravity of the emotions and sentiments being portrayed.
Aren't "Thank You Cards" for important things? (e.g. Wedding Gifts)
Most people send cards on only a few occasions. Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, etc. In some situations, folks may even just sign the bottom of a card they purchased from the store. The handwritten card requires the most amount of thought, effort, and time, so it is reserved for only the most special occasions. At St. Augustine Law Group, we believe that these "special occasions" occur more often than once or twice a year. They can even occur in situations where money hasn't changed hands!
Some might say that writing these cards is a waste of time and resources. Here at St. Augustine Law Group, we disagree. If clients, colleagues and members of our community are willing to spend some of their valuable resources with us (time and money), then we want to say "Thank You" in the best, most personal ay we know how. This is just one way that St. Augustine Law Group strives to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients, colleagues and community members.
